The library in town is using their knowledge of books and youth in their Gift of Books Campaign.
“As libraries and as people that are focused on community development and of best outcomes for our youth, having reading in your life significantly increases your chances of success” says Tiffany Toma, Program Coordinator.
She says there are many facts out there that say those who kids had access to these resources had a better chance of a successful life than those that didn’t.
“Were just trying to provide access and eliminate boundaries and give the gift of reading for Christmas.”
You can drop off books from now until December 22 or you can pick up tags for specific books they have chosen to purchase as well.
