The plan will remain in effect until the morning of Tuesday, January 16.

The City’s Extreme Weather Plan is activated when, for three consecutive days, the winter weather drops to -20 degrees Celsius with a windchill. When the plan is activated, the following City facilities are made available to those in need for temporary daytime reprieve.

Leduc Civic Centre 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
Leduc Recreation Centre, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. (Saturday to Sunday), 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Statutory Holidays)

The Leduc Hub Association offers overnight shelter in Leduc and has 10 overnight spaces available.
