The City is activating the Extreme Weather Plan in response to current extreme winter conditions. The plan will remain in effect until the morning of Tuesday, January 16.
The City’s Extreme Weather Plan is activated when, for three consecutive days, the winter weather drops to -20 degrees Celsius with a windchill. When the plan is activated, the following City facilities are made available to those in need for temporary daytime reprieve.
Leduc Civic Centre 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
Leduc Recreation Centre, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. (Saturday to Sunday), 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Statutory Holidays)
